Types of Vikram Solar Panel
Vikram solar panels are the latest technology solar panels, available in three different types. The major differences between these solar panels are their appearance, efficiency, and size, as well as the solar price per watt. The types of solar panels are mentioned below.
Let’s dive into the solar world and learn about these solar panels in detail.
#1. Polycrystalline Solar Panel
Polycrystalline solar panels are multi-crystal solar panels, ideal for home installations. These solar panels are well-known for their consistent energy generation capacity, even in adverse weather conditions.
Poly solar panels are manufactured by fragments of silicon that are melted and shaped together. The solar cells in polycrystalline panels are connected in a series combination to achieve higher efficiency levels.
Vikram poly-crystalline solar panels are extremely durable and reliable solar panels that require almost no maintenance. Once installed, the panels will work efficiently for years and years without any issue.
Vikram Poly Solar Panel Price
Vikram polycrystalline solar panel price starts from Rs.26 per watt for 330 watt solar panel and for smaller capacity solar panels, the solar price per watt is around Rs.30.

#2. Monocrystalline Solar Panel
Vikram has SOMERA named solar panel series in monocrystalline type. These modules are manufactured by high purity uniform silicon crystal. Vikram mono solar panels are specially designed to perform better even in partial shadow conditions. The half-cut technology improves the output of the module without significantly increasing the cost.
Monocrystalline solar panels have a blackish appearance and are protected by tempered glass and aluminium frames. Since mono solar panels are more efficient than poly panels, they will produce more electricity than poly panels of the same rating. These panels are ideal for large solar installations.
Vikram Mono Solar Panel Price
Vikram mono solar panel price starts at Rs.30 per watt for 550 watt solar panel and goes up to Rs.33 per watt for smaller capacity solar panels.

#3. Bifacial Solar Panel
Vikram has a PREXOS named solar panel series in bifacial type modules. These panels are the latest technology solar panels. Both sides of a bifacial solar panel are light sensitive because they are designed to absorb sunlight from both the front and rear side.
Vikram bifacial solar panels are highly durable and do not need much space. Solar cells are arranged in grid-like patterns on the top and bottom of these panels, increasing its total energy generation. The efficiency of these panels are much higher than monocrystalline and polycrystalline panels because they capture sunlight from both sides.
Vikram Bifacial Solar Panel Price
Vikram solar offers a wide range of bifacial solar panels. The prices of these panels depend upon their power rating. However, the bifacial solar panel price starts from Rs.33 per watt for 550 watt solar panels and goes up to Rs.36 per watt for smaller capacity solar panels.
