A hybrid solar system combines both the functionalities of on-grid and off-grid solar systems. In a hybrid 15kW solar system, there is net-metering as well as solar batteries. When your solar panels produce more electricity than you consume during the day, you can store the excess in a solar battery. When the batteries are fully charged, the excess power will be automatically exported to the grid.
